From a kitchen in Italy to 111 Avenue.
Tony Mazzotta Sr. opened the first Tony's on Gun Hill Road in the Bronx in 1964. He brought the recipe to Edmonton in 1974, and his sons run the kitchen off it today.

Real footage from the line. Sauce and cheese still go on by hand, one pie at a time, before it slides into the oven.
Tony brought the recipe over from the Bronx. His sons still work off it.
